The lock and cover plates are manufactured from satin anodised aluminium, and the cover plates allow you to fit the lock over pre-existing drill holes.

The lock and cover plates are manufactured from satin anodised aluminium, and the cover plates allow you to fit the lock over pre-existing drill holes. This means the lock can be retrofitted to doors that previously had another style of lock fitted.
The plates also add strength and rigidity to the assembly but being an entry-level lock we would not recommend this for high use washrooms or those prone to vandalism.
