This Gravity Hinge with Bolt Through or Woodscrew Fixings (Right or Left Handing) is designed to automatically open and close doors. Constructed from stainless steel, it is durable and high-strength.
Due to the construction of the hinges, the mechanism uses gravity to help the door swing open or closed. This is often very helpful in small washrooms, where space is limited. The hinge can be adjusted on-site to fall open or closed.
Suitable for 12-13mm and 18-21mm board thicknesses, with a polished or satin stainless steel finish.
Bolt through or Woodscrew fixings are supplied separately and are suitable for 12-13mm and 18-21mm board thickness, with a polished or satin stainless steel finish.
The hinges are supplied as fall closed. To adjust them to fall open, the fitter needs to remove the small grub screw in the bottom of the hinge with the Allen key supplied, then rotate the bottom nylon cam in the body of the hinge round to the next hole and tighten the grub screw.
