The system comprises an Alert Box with flashing visual alert lamp and integral audio sounder, a plug-in Mains Power Unit and Ceiling Pull Switch to activate the alarm.
The pack includes an emergency assistance pull cord (coloured red) with two red bangles of 50mm diameter. One bangle should be set at a height of between 800mm and 1000mm and the other set at 100mm above the floor level. This pull cord should never be tied up out of reach.
This audio alert can be cancelled from inside and outside the patient area by a reset button.
