This individual urinal sensor flush valve manufactured by Douglas Delabie is ideal for installation to control the flush of a single urinal.
It is designed to operate directly from a mains water supply (no need for a cistern) either through a wall into a service area or within duct panelling (distance no greater than 150mm). Suggested uses and applications are within any public and commercial premises with 1 or more urinals where moderate to heavy use exists.
The system operates on a presence detection of the user by infrared beam (no need for hand movement/contact) which is adjustable by the installer. The Kit includes a concealed infrared detector on a chrome wall plate, an electronic module mains powered 230/12V 1.5m sensor cable, solenoid valve, filter and stop valve.
Please note: You will require a transformer kit (406220) with this urinal sensor; one transformer will suit up to 5no. urinal sensors. We highly recommend that a transformer is purchased otherwise the warranty on this product is void.
We recommend the installation of an air break valve (frequently referred to as a DC pipe interrupter) with any mains fed urinal flush systems (1 per urinal). This valve will prevent backflow to the mains water supply.
