This Dudley Resan anti-ligature basin is a wall mounted sink designed for washrooms where secure safety is a priority, such as prisons or mental health facilities.

Dudley Resan shows that safety doesn't have to compromise a stylish basin, with this smooth vandal-proof design with UK Ministry of Justice Safer Cell Approval.

This basin is what Dudley defines as a ‘Nose and Tap Outlets.’ It has an anti-ligature concealed tap arrangement in one single piece cast which provides the highest level of anti-ligature design available.

This basin is anti-ligature in design reducing the possibilities of self-harm, anti-vandal highly robust solid surface basin with UK Ministry of Justice Safer Cell Approval. Designed for use in high security and healthcare environments with concealed services and fixings.

Controls and fixings:

All of Dudley Resans solid surface sanitaryware uses a unique blend of polyester resin and aluminium tri-hydrate that creates an incredibly reliable anti-vandal solution while also enhancing a durable long lasting finish that does not use a gel coat layer, so the surface can be easily renewed on-site, unlike fibreglass composite alternatives, stainless steel or vitreous China ceramic sanitaryware.

The sink is supplied with all the necessary fixings to attach it to the wall, so there is no need to purchase extra fittings.

For commercial use, a TMV should also be purchased for controlling the water temperature at a safe level.

Please note that the pneumatic control pipe cannot be used on walls thicker than specified, but they can be trimmed down to fit a smaller space. Bespoke sizes can be made on request so contact the sales team for more information.

Pneumatic controls lay flat against the wall making them vandal resistant and anti-ligature. They have robust contruction and are ideal for use in healthcare and secure sectors. Pneumatic controls are completely free from electrical control.

The controls are supplied with the appropriate solenoid valve, and allow the taps to run for a set amount of time at a pre-determined temperature for easy control by any user. They come in a pair of one red (hot) and one blue (cold) control as standard.

There is an alternative basin of the same design that can be used with infrared sensor or piezo touch controls.
