The following is a suggestion on the heights which both conventional blow-down and blade type hand dryers should be installed in any commercial washroom. The tables take into account the different ages of users.

Suggested Blade hand dryer mounting heights from floor to bottom of dryer:

Adult male 13" / 350mm
Adult female 11" / 300mm
Children aged 3-10 10" / 250mm
Children aged 11-17 6" / 150mm
Disabled 4" / 100mm
