The existing men's Toilets incorporated a Disabled Toilet, and they were in need of refurbishment after a decade of heavy use.

During the design stage, our experts saw an opportunity to create a second room with a brand new 900mm disabled door. 

The Club is in constant use, and there are a number of well-maintained Snooker and Pool tables next to the Toilets, so dust mitigation was a priority during this Washroom Refurbishment.

The existing men's and women's washrooms looked very dated, so our toilet cubicle design team consulted with the customer to update not only the design but also the functionality.

Commercial Washrooms provide a full turnkey Refurbishment Service, and this project started with a Strip out of the existing Cubicles, Sanitary ware, wall covering and Flooring.

The Colour Scheme uses the understated but hard-wearing "Blanc Megeve" (Megéve White) woodgrain finish as the accent colour, which blends nicely with the Underframe in "Banian Blanchi" (Banyan off-white) finished with white Corian Washtroughs.

The Cubicles and Toilet Duct Panels are made from Solid-Grade Laminate (SGL), which is available in a range of colours. SGL is particularly suited to high-humidity environments and is totally impervious to water. From areas with very high traffic to shower cubicles and wet changing rooms, SGL is super strong and totally water—and liquid-resistant. 

The Floor was screeded to create a level surface. Before we laid vinyl safety flooring from Altro onto the dried screed, Altro flooring was an incredibly durable material that boasts advanced anti-slip properties. When this is partnered with Altro Whiterock wall cladding, it not only holds strong hygiene credentials but also high fire ratings.

Three stylish RAK Series 600 Concealed Trap Urinals were hung on the wall, with hidden Cisterns and Traps, and RAK Origin Back-To-Wall toilets were installed in the cubicles.

The double Corian Washtrough, built on top of a sturdy Vanity Unit, was finished with RAK-Compact Non Concussive Basin Mixer Taps and KWC DVS Counter Mounted Liquid Soap Dispensers under attractive wall-hung Washroom Mirrors.

Disabled Doc-M Washroom

During the design stage, our team suggested that a separate room be created for the Disabled Facilities with its own entrance. The Disabled toilet was originally housed in the main Washroom and was difficult to manoeuvre, so a Brand new Disabled Door was knocked through, and a new Disabled Washroom was created.

The Conservative Club has several well-maintained Pool and Snooker Tables, so it was imperative that building work while this door was being added kept dust to an absolute minimum.

The Commercial Washrooms Team includes all required trades, including Builders who were well-practised in this scenario. A Dust Tent was installed in the area before work commenced.
