Buckinghamshire’s Wexham Park Golf Centre sits just outside the M25, a few miles from Pinewood Studios. The washrooms were about to see extensive renovation works including reconfiguring the wash and shower facilities. Working with our regular contractor partner Toureen Group, we were brought in to supply the toilet cubicles, changing benches and locker systems.
We visited Wexham Park Golf Centre with our contractor partners to deliver a specification on the cubicles and lockers, ensuring that materials and finished units would fit perfectly into their new facilities. Once agreeing and signing off on the specification, we were then able to make sure that the materials all arrived to site in one go at the most opportune time when the contractors were ready for them. This prevents any accidental damage from storing materials on a busy construction site but also allows the contractor to dedicate more attention to their install when the team is actually ready for them.
The specification called for solid grade laminate cubicles throughout the Wexham Park site. This is a highly durable material that will last the golf centre for many years. It is also completely impervious to water, meaning it will never swell or weaken from ingress moisture.
Solid grade laminate was also used on the changing benches, as well as the bespoke locker systems installed. These lockers are constructed with a metal carcass and solid grade laminate panels. Offering four lockers per column, the golf centre settled on a digital combination lock system that meant there was no need for pound coins or key operated padlocks.
The cubicles allowed Wexham Park Golf Centre to enjoy robust durability while bringing in a contemporary colour scheme with a modern finish. Meanwhile, the lockers continued that colour scheme and delivered security for personal items and clothes with improved usability and easy clean functionality.
