Washrooms Suitable for all Seasons
This busy holiday park in Hampshire was looking to renovate the washrooms within a large entertainment complex. Three sets of washrooms were refurbished in total, including one disabled washroom.
Out with the old, in with the new
Following the existing layout, we fitted integrated plumbing systems for the toilets, hiding all pipework and cisterns within a Solid Grade Laminate duct set that sat behind each cubicle. Full height cubicles were installed to deliver a modern feel to the washrooms. These were made from Solid Grade Laminate due to their highly durable nature, being completely impervious to water. Vitra S20 back to wall toilets were installed within these cubicles along with push-button controls fitted into the back wall panel.
Walls were clad in Whiterock from the Chameleon colour range, which was thermoformed around corners to reduce joins. We then laid Altro Walkway flooring, a vinyl covering that features anti-slip safety properties.
Made to Measure service
Bespoke Vanity Units were constructed from an SGL under-frame, carrying ceramic washbasins and Delabie Temposoft 2 taps. These taps have a softer touch operation, which makes them easier for children to use, while only emitting water for a set period of time. This delivers a saving on water usage but also prevents taps from accidentally being left on. To complete the hand wash area, we installed bespoke LED backlit mirrors above each washbasin.
Within the disabled washroom, we fitted a Close-Coupled Doc-M Toilet Pack, which has everything needed for a fully compliant disabled room. The grab rails were blue so that they contrast against the wall colour as this helps the visually impaired.
Delivering with minimal disruption
We phased these works to cause minimum disruption to the site and delivered a turn-key service on the project, including a full design and specification process ahead of works. This enables the client to get a clear vision of everything that’s involved in the process before works actually take place.
