Ansford Academy School Toilets Cubicle Refurbishment - Case Study

Ansford Academy in South Somerset has recently completed the major job of refurbishing their school toilets and chose Commercial Washrooms as the main supplier of washroom products.

The school is a leading secondary school, educating up to GCSE level, within the Somerset region. With an ongoing aim of improving staff, student, and visitor facilities the school set about an application for funding from the Department of Education (DoE) to improve the school toilets. They were successful in their application and went about re-designing the washroom layouts with the help of Commercial Washrooms Design service.

Commercial Washrooms' contribution to the project included the supply of full working CAD drawings as well as the specification of washroom products that would achieve easy maintenance yet attractive finish.

Products used included solid grade laminate toilet cubicles with half-height IPS duct panel sets (sloping lids to avoid clutter and littering), solid surface wash troughs with press taps to conserve water use.

Overall the project was completed within time and to budget. The school was extremely happy with the finished project:
